Q. Do you have a shadow doctor?

Q. Our hospital never had shadow doctor more than 10 years of period. Our principle is that nominated doctor must directly consult with the patient and operate surgery so please trust us with confidence.

Q. Are there interpreting service for each country?

Q. Yes, We basically provide free interpreting service for each country from general to medical, we provide in-house interpreter services.

Q. When is the best time to land in Korea before surgery?

Q. The recovery period does not vary greatly between patients, but since breast surgery has a post-operative care period, we recommend that you come in for a day or two before the date of surgery to receive consultation and examination.

Q. Is there any food or medicine to avoid before surgery?

Q. If you are taking any medicines, you can get checkup from our hospital anesthesiologists by contacting the consultant in charge of your country online to find out how long you can take before and after surgery. There are no specific food to avoid but cigarettes and alcohol before and after surgery are prohibited.

Q. How can I pay before surgery?

Q. We accept all cash, cards, cash+cards, PayPal (some country). If you want to ask questions, speak to consultant in charge of your country.

Q. How much should I pay for deposit before surgery?

Q. Our principle of receiving deposit is 10% from the total amount of surgery fee, however each country has different ways of paying so we recommend you to speak with your consultant.

Q. How does anesthesia would work before surgery?

Q. Depending on the method of surgery, sedation or general anesthesia will be arranged and we recommend you to speak with your consultant with this matter. However you don’t have to concern about safety as Braun provides consistent health checking during the surgery by our hospital anesthesiologists.

Q. Is it replaceable, If I bring my medical examination paper from my local hospital to Korea before surgery?

Q. Each country’s specific inspection items and standard figures are different. It may be helpful during the consultation as a reference but you will receive the necessary examinations again at Braun.

Q. Do I need a Visa for blepharoplasty?

Q. Each country has different types and process of a Visa so hard to be explained however, If you need to get a Visa and it requires some relevant document from Braun, we can provide.

Q. What happens to my accommodation if I have a long stay after my blepharoplasty?

Q. 1-2 weeks is enough length of staying after breast surgery and if you are busy, you can leave after 3-4 days. However if you return on your 3rd day of surgery, you have to remove stitches at your local hospital. Braun assist with your accommodation with our partner hotels. If you talk to your consultant early regards to accommodation, we will recommend you a hotel and consult with prices and schedules.

Q. Is there any required preparation before blepharoplasty?

Q. Ice packs, gauze, take-in medicines, pumpkin juice and necessary items will be provided from Braun and we have well organized de-swelling treatment so no extra supporting item to be prepared from you but if you have, we recommend you to speak with your consultant. Also we suggest you to wear buttoned shirts.

Q. Is the seam not loose after eye surgery?

Q. Rubbing eyes with hands is prohibited straight after your eye surgery until one week after removal of the stitches. If you don't do this, your seams won't loosen on its own so don’t worry.

Q. Can I fly after surgery?

Q. There is usually no problem. However, there are some differences depending on the surgical site and method, but depending on the method of operation, the safe date of boarding may slightly vary. Please discuss the flight date with your consultant before entering the country.

Q. How long does recovery period takes after the surgery?

Q. The recovery period varies depending on the patient's physical characteristics, health condition, and age but usually recovers more than 80% between 3 and 6 months. After you have had a breast surgery, light walking is helpful for recovery.

Q. Inside of my eyes are bleeding. Is it okay?

Q. Yes, Clumps blood at the time of surgery were coagulated in the form of jelly temporarily and then melts over times. If the bleeding continues, visit the hospital and if it happens for a while, it is natural.

Q. I got a surgery from other hospital, when can I get revision surgery?

Q. It depends on the condition of each patients but generally scar tissue needs time for recovery from previous surgery so we recommend to come after 3-6 months of period.

Q. When do swelling or bruises go away after surgery?

Q. It depends on the patient’s health condition but usually swelling is worse on the 3rd day and after that day, swelling gets better. Bruises same, its depends on the patient’s health condition but usually it gets better within 1-3months.

Q. When can I start washing my face and do make up?

Q. Light washing with wet tower is okay, however it is important to be careful not to get wet around the stitches. We also recommend you to apply eye liners one month after surgery. Please note that the medical team will guide you individually before you leave the hospital.

Q. When is available to smoke, drink alcohol and using sauna?

Q. Please don’t smoke and drink within a month after your surgery. Also using sauna and tough exercise is not recommended within 2-3weeks, however light walking is okay a week after the surgery.

Q. Swelling on the both sides of eyes are different after surgery, the results will be different too?

Q. Human face is not 100% symmetrical. The swelling also occurs asymmetrically, but it has nothing to do with the outcome of the surgery. So please focus on removing swelling with confidence, and there may be a difference in swelling for three to six months after surgery, but please do not worry.
