Hello It's been 3 weeks since facial contouring surgery at Braun. I only got 3 surgeries which are cheekbone revision, V-line square jaw, and chin but I can see 5 effects on my face! My slightly saggy cheek fats were lifted and the both corners of my mouth were lifted as well surprisingly. Before I got my primary surgery done, one of my friends got the same surgery done at a different major hospital in Korea where is well known for facial contouring surgery. I was also thinking of getting facial contouring surgery, but just looking at her going through the post operation process made me feel her pain. She was asking for the painkillers constantly. And also, especially, her oral sensory didn't come back even after a month. She didn't even notice the food sticking on her face. So I decided to get only the cheekbone reduction which is a lot easier and simple procedure than what she got in a different hospital. Moreover, it is the least painful and I hope to be discharged on that day. I had a cheekbone reduction surgery at other hospital which is not Braun nor the one my friend went to. The results were cheekbone nonunion, saggy cheeks, and bumpy facial line and also I even had social phobia....... But I didn't know it is because the surgery went wrong. I just thought it is because of aging... However, after getting the cheekbone reduction, my face shape looked like a refrigerator... So I got addicted to Botox and regularly I used to depend on Botox.... The doctor at the dermatology clinic where I go to carefully asked me what if I get a facial contouring surgery as my jaw is quite developed. And he recommended me 5 famous plastic surgery clinics and also strongly said that he is not related to any of those clinics. Since I am living in a province, I came all the way up to Seoul to have consultations. Among the 5 clinics, 2 clinics didn't mention about the nonunion cheekbones which is a risk of revision surgery and the other 3 clinics told me I need to get a revision cheekbone surgery. And my choice was Braun as the doctor seemed very trustful and the surgical method was the safest one for nerves, the Inverted V Osteotomy (also known as ㅅOsteotomy)! So I got revision surgery here. It was quite awesome that I felt comfortable with the process as simple as double eyelid surgery. I didn't feel a sore throat, numbness on chin, toothache or nausea at all. I was hospitalized for one day, then the next day I drove back home by myself. I am not going to write about the first 2 days or a week after the surgery because it is quite similar to other reviews. Please let go of the first 10 days. Ah! Since I am in my 40s, my skin is thick and saggy. I could have worse swelling than young people but I could go back to work after 2 weeks even a total mess like me.. And most of the swelling subsided in 3 weeks. Maybe it is because I had good post-op care for myself. As soon as I woke up, I massaged with cold aloe gel for 10mins, put warm packs for 30mins, massaged with aloe gel for another 20mins again, took a walk for an hour for 3 times a day and applied swelling cream and bruise cream every day. Then most of the swelling subsides in 3 weeks!!!!!! You know what, I went to the department store to buy a perfume, the salesperson told me I look really feminine which I had never heard before. Thank you so much, Dr.Kim. You made me a happy woman! I drank and ate pumpkin and pear juice, green tea, seaweed, soymilk, detox vitamin, and swelling capsule. I used facial roller all day everyday too. It was so amazing Just got the facial contouring surgery but I also have the effect of resilient cheek and lip lifting! For 10 days after the surgery- no daily activity, 2 weeks after the surgery- possible to go to work, 3 weeks after the surgery- becoming a woman of peerless beauty I love Braun! |
