Gynecomastia is when male breasts become as large as a woman’s with developed breast tissue and fat. It usually appears in adolescent males, creating extreme stress or causing the development of a complex, interfering with their social life, and potentially causing a personality disorder.
It may naturally disappear after puberty or the age of 20, but if not for 2 years, the large men’s breasts need to be surgically corrected.

Cause of Gynecomastia |
01. Most cases occur without apparent cause in healthy males. |
02. Could be a symptom of endocrine disease. |
03. Could be caused by a chromosomal anomaly (Klinefelter’s syndrome) in rare cases. |
04. Could be accompanied by adverse drug reactions, renal dysfunction or liver disease. |

Surgical Method |
Various surgical methods are available, but a combination of liposuction and breast tissue resection is common.
If only liposuction is performed, bulges of breast tissue remain around the nipple, and if only resection is performed on the breast tissue, the area around the nipple gets sunken.
01. The breast tissue resection uses a small 1-cm incision, with no cause for concern over scars.
02. The breasts are perfectly corrected by primary surgery without risk of relapse. |
