I never wrote a review like this but I’d like to do it since many others already have done it This is 3 weeks after the malar reduction!! I still have swelling but it was worse before As the doctor said, there was no cheek sagging and it made my frontal cheekbone smaller and more 3-dimensional, which makes my eyes big. And it made my jaw line slim as well. I am surprised that malar reduction changes the image like this. The cheekbones on the picture were protruding through my hair before the surgery Before the surgery, I was a model so I heard that I was handsome. I also heard that I am cute because of my round face. But you know everybody has their own complex?! My protruding cheekbones didn’t give me a sharp and chic image I always looked round, that’s why I decided to have surgery (Big decision!) I worried a lot until I decided to have surgery. The general anesthesia and bone surgery made me scared since I worry about every little thing. But guess what?! I am writing a review like this. I visited the hospital and Dr. Kim, Tae-Gyu appeared. His first impression was nice Among the hospitals I visited, he was the most comfortable one and explained about the surgery easily, which made my worries go away ~ He said he would give me the facial shape that I want and I could trust him fully. That convinced me firmly He knew what I wanted and I believed he would do a good job with the surgery. And my manager was treating me as if I was her brother and she was so pretty. I booked for the surgery that day and went in for the surgery. On that day, I changed into a surgery gown, washed my face, and relaxed. Then I talked to the doctor again and he designed my face. I lay down on the operation table and the anesthetist came in and put me on a respirator. I asked if the surgery is starting but the doctor said it was oxygen. I thought he was just saying that but actually giving me anesthesia but he was telling the truth. He said he would give me anesthesia and when the nurse woke me up the surgery was over. I went in the recovery room. I listened to instructions and got the prescribed medicine and came home with my brother. I worried a lot because many people said it, but I had no dizziness or nausea. I was just a bit cloudy. Fortunately, I didn’t have any pain. I slept good even the first night.(Of course I had to use a cushion to raise my upper body, slightly sitting position with my legs stretched out) It was like that the second and third day. Only thing bothered me was that I couldn’t eat well. I drank soy milk and juice and starting on the 3rd day, I had soup. I could brush my teeth and used mouth wash. I avoided strong flavored food and I got better soon. Now I can eat anything except hard food. For swelling, I do cold pack massages and I take medicine. The post operative swelling treatment and walking exercise and bike helped me with my swelling. I have a little bit of swelling left on my cheeks I went in after 2 weeks and the doctor said laughing actually helps with recovery. I look at mirror so many times and that makes me smile. I can see my jaw line and it’s good. Thanks doctor. Take care!! ♥ |
