I had facial contouring(malar, square jaw) and rhinoplasty On February 1, 2016. It’s been 10 months and I’d like to express my gratitude by writing a review. It was my first plastic surgery and Dr. Kim, Tae-Gyu was very nice and convincing, so I made an appointment right after the consultation. On the day of surgery, he made me relax and I didn’t have any nervousness due to my trust for him. As you can see in my before photo, I had big cheekbones and that made my cheeks sunken and dark. My square jaw made me look round but now the protruding cheekbones are gone and since they are rotated, the side cheekbones look more 3 dimensional. Other people do fat grafting for the volume but I got the volume from rotation malar reduction. I remember what Dr. Kim, Tae-Gyu emphasized from the consultation. He said if I get fat grafting, it would make my face bigger causing cheek sagging so I need reduction for frontal cheekbones for a volumetric effect... I had square jaw but I told him to leave a bit of angle because I wanted it natural looking so he left some angle making it natural. He did as he promised and I am really satisfied with the result. And my nose was low, wide, and long He made it higher but not too much and made it shorter. I am happy with my nose It’s not artificial and the line is really natural. People don’t even know if I had surgery. My friends asked me where I got the surgery even when I had swelling so I recommended the hospital. Many of them received surgery there. I did nose and cheekbones together so it wasn’t easy for me. I wanted to get it all done all at once and I think I made a good choice. For the first two days, I couldn’t breathe due to the cotton balls in my nose and it was really hard. I worried about the pain from bone surgery but it was just 2~3 hours after the surgery and the only annoying thing were the cotton balls in my nose... After 2 days, I was discharged and breathing was really hard and my throat was sore. I went to the hospital again. The doctors checked on me and that made me relieved. Now that I think about it, I was paranoid since it was my first surgery I liked their post treatment as well. And Dr. Kim, Tae-Gyu is so funny I loved visiting the hospital About swelling! My swelling was gone quickly I drank pumpkin juice and walked a lot which helped with my swelling I didn’t think about the small swelling and it went away naturally Oh! I also received post operative treatment regularly. Maybe that made my swelling go away faster! Now I can open my mouth wide, yawn, and chew meat Dr. Kim, Tae-Gyu, thank you for making my surgery successful!! Thank you so much ^.^ |
