Hi. First of all, you must be wondering why I chose Braun. I've had 3 consultations including Braun. I really wanted to decide seriously as it is dealing with bone. The doctors at the other clinic only told me how to reduce jaw bone. But Dr. Kim, as if he read my mind, he pointed out all my worries and told me about the details of the surgery method.
Honestly, it was difficult to stay at the clinic after the surgery. I couldn't eat anything, had no energy and was so tired. But I got relaxed as the nurse checked me often and the doctor came to see me. And of course there was pain but I got a painless injection so I didn't feel the pain that much. I had to eat porridge using a syringe and couldn't sleep well for the first 3 days. But on the 3rd day, the dressing was removed, used ice and warm pack, and took a walk as the nurse said. I took photos every week and could tell swelling subsided a lot. I was worried because the swelling didn't go down faster compared to others though it went down a lot now. But people tell me I became prettier. I had porridge only for a week after the surgery, then could have a proper meal that isn't solid, salty, spicy or chewy. After I removed the stitches, I ate ddeokbokki (spicy rice cake). It's really hard to put up with something delicious.
I strongly recommend 'Inverted V Osteotomy' to those who have long chin!
