I didn't have a square jaw or angled tip of chin, but I had a wide lower jaw overall, both horizontally and vertically! I also read all of the reviews of people who had surgery during the recovery period and before the surgery. 1. Surgery follow up and swelling management I managed my swelling very thoroughly because I did the surgery without notifying my friends. I've often taken two types of medicine that are good for swelling, pumpkin juice, and a foot bath that is good for blood circulation. As a result, the swelling was getting better even it was unnoticeable the surgery from day 5 to 6 after surgery. When I went to Braun one week after the surgery, the doctor said that the swelling is subsiding very well. During the period of swelling, the front chin appeared a little jutted, but that is also because of swelling. So do not worry. Satisfactory part: Wide lower jaw became slimmer. As I recover, my diet was adjusted, so it naturally affects my diet. The area of the face is reduced, so the features of the face look bigger. Asymmetry is much improved. Unsatisfactory part: The feeling of tightness in my chin still remains. It's slowly going away. Limitation: The size of the head doesn't matter, so it doesn't make a small head. The face line will be cleared. 2. Bone reduction surgery, mouth wounds, nerves I was scared because it was a bone reduction operation. It was my first time for general anesthesia, so I was very scared. I read a lot of people who suffered from the side effects of general anesthesia, so I trembled even on the day of surgery. I opened my eyes after surgery, and I felt dizzy and thirsty, but I went to the bathroom a lot, and I slept in the electric pad, and I was feeling better soon. There were no symptoms, such as nausea. And I'm so grateful to the nurse for taking care of me all night. I especially had to go home alone without a guardian, but thank you for taking care of me so well until the end. The tip of my chin still feels heavy. I'm going to wait a little longer because I'm much better than right after surgery already. The left side of the lower lip was paralyzed like an anesthetic in the dentist's office, but after about two weeks, it was completely back. When there were stitches in my mouth, I felt uncomfortable because the food was stuck, but now I think it is healed. It's the same as it used to be. Oh, it's called a scar tissue. It popped out a bit. Both sides of the cheek. 3. Other types of pain There is no abnormal pain yet. It was almost gone before my 2nd month. I thought why is like this until 2 months so I used to look up and searched on the internet a lot. Over two months, I think I'm getting more and more unconscious about the surgery. 4. Post-op photo Because I lost weight, before and after is obvious. As mentioned above, I didn't have an outstanding angle. So people around me think that I've lost weight. I hear so much these days that I look pretty. I think it was good that I had surgery. Thank the doctor for his effort. The doctor doesn't recommend unnecessary surgery, but he does exactly what the patient wants properly. If you are considering surgery, please consult first!
