The surgery did not come out as I expected since it was the quick cheek reduction surgery. Even after the surgery I had to live my unsatisfying life with wide face as before. I have received 3 types of facial contouring surgeries at Braun to eliminate this complex. After having a consultation with a doctor at Braun, I realized that I found my god doctor here! The doctor knew all about the unsatisfactory parts of my face that I had felt in my life! He said my face shape looks alike main character (an old man) of the movie called “Up”, who has a flat laundry machine-like facial shape. The doctor told me not to feel bad about what he mentioned ^^ When I heard that the doctor would perform the surgery as beautiful and satisfactory as possible, I decided to trust Braun 100 percent. Particularly, Inverted V Osteotomy method is the decisive factor for this surgery. The operation took longer than expected due to cheekbone revision surgery, I had a hard time after waking up from anesthesia ㅠㅠ Every time I woke up, I started vomiting then went back to sleep again. I repeated this overnight. The next day in the morning, I barely get myself together and got rid of a hemo bag. That simple thing made me feel very comfortable. After removing the stitches on the cheekbones, I felt a bit of stinging pain. I did not take any other pain relief medicine apart from the medicine prescribed by Braun. So I bought the gargle solution from the pharmacy that I was recommended, and worked hard to gargle and brush my teeth. I did cold and hot packs constantly and wore a compression bandage. It was a bit painful when the stitches were removed out of my mouth, but I was so happy that I could eat whatever I wanted. After removing the stitches, the doctor told me that my facial shape looks so pretty now. There's still a lot of swelling on the chin and cheekbones, so my face looks a little bumpy. However, the doctor told me not to worry about it and it will be gone later on. And the doctor and I wrapped up the follow up check with a happy smile. The doctor told recommended to me to go on a diet so I was doing well but now my old weight came back because my appetite increasedㅜㅜ I was told that if I gain weight, my cheeks become saggy so I will keep being on a diet. Due to swelling, I keep doing hot packs constantly and drinking pumpkin juice. Finally, I asked the doctor to perform surgery that gives a positive frontal effect. I really love my slim jaw~ I still have to struggle with the swelling but I thank the doctor who gave me this beautiful facial shape and all the staff sincerely. After a few months, I will visit for my final follow up check. For the people who are stressed about facial shape, I strongly recommend to get facial contouring surgery at Braun!!!!! |
