The 1st and 2nd photos: Before & Right after surgery The 3rd and 4th photos: After As I turned 20, I was very stressed out about my cheek. I got stressed more and more; when I got my hair straight permed, the hair could not cover the cheeks. When I tied my hair and take a photo, and so on. Therefore, I worried about cheekbone reduction surgery. I did not have any plastic surgery experiences and I never thought before about bone surgery. I was afraid, so I looked into various plastic surgery clinics, and I read a lot of reviews. In particular, I can say with confidence that I have read most of the reviews about Braun’s facial contouring surgery. I was so scared, and it was a secret surgery for my family, so I thought a lot about it myself. After consulting and reading various reviews, I decided that I'd rather do the surgery than be stressed out by cheekbones like this. Finally, I went through 3D lifting-rotation zygoma reduction and sunken cheek correction. <Surgery day> My surgery time was 9:30 A.M. so I got to Braun on time. I was so nervous about the surgery so I even asked a nurse if I am going to wake up after the surgery. hahahaha Later I tried to calm down while watching funny clips on Youtube. And then, I had a short consultation right before the surgery with the doctor while getting an IV drip. I went into the operation room at around 11:00. I was on the operating bed literally trembling with fear and a bit later I was put to sleep. I woke up from anesthesia, and I got up so well that I went to the recovery room in a wheelchair. As soon as I lay on the bed, I was sleepy, and suddenly I got up, threw up, went back to sleep, and repeated like this. And at night, I went home by taxi. <The next day> Nausea reached its peak. I felt nauseous to death while I was on the way to clinic by taxi to get an injection. <The 3rd day> I just spent the day lying down. I kept gargling and started eating porridge from this day. Also, I ordered pumpkin juice on my own and drank them, which is good for calming down swelling. <The 4th day> From this point on, I really got myself together and out of pain. I ate the porridge well while watching TV. Even though I ate well, it was hard to digest and I felt stodgy. And I went to Brown this day and the bandage was unwrapped. Then I looked at my face and was surprised that the cheekbone surgery had made my jaw look slim too. The hemovac drainage was removed and I had to wear the bandage again because of the sunken cheek correction. I also had a hair wash service at Braun. <The 5th day> This day I Got up and did stretching, ate pumpkin juice steadily, went to Han River to exercise, and went to a bookstore to buy a book. From then on, I was able to walk around with a mask, and the big swelling was almost gone that I could go to the bank. Also, I could eat a spicy noodle and chicken as well afterwards. I could not open my mouth well but I just ate. Since I am a student, I started going to school after a vacation. My friends told me that I seem like I lost a lot of weight. Hahaha They do not know about the surgery at all. After having this surgery, I lost 5 kgs as promised with the doctor. I am so happy now!! I do not have to photoshop my cheeks anymore when I take a photo. I not stressed out anymore! <About 1 month> It has been about a month since I had the surgery and I'm eating really well, and doing great in my daily life. There is still some swelling around the cheek, and there are some scar tissues on that area due to the sunken cheek correction, which will clear up after a month or two. Before the surgery, I heard that I looked old because of the sunken cheeks. I was very stressed because of this... I just thought cheekbone reduction surgery would make my sunken cheeks better by itself, but the director explained that it was nothing to do with cheekbones. However, this time, together with the correction of the sunken cheeks, my cheeks will be getting smaller and the sunken cheeks are getting better as well and it is expected to be less swollen day by day. I've been curious about many things while reading the reviews, so I wrote it down as specifically as possible. I'm sure you're scared and nervous, but after a week of surgery, happiness begins.
