I have been looking at facial contouring surgery reviews for years, but finally I am writing one!! I can’t believe it. I had been under a lot of stress about my cheekbones for three to four years. I had never had surgery or been hospitalized for my entire life, and I had never dreamed of having surgery before. My friend had 3D rotation lifting zygoma reduction surgery at Braun. And I had been watching her transition and could see that she has changed a lot so I envied her. Then one day I decided to have a consultation at least before I regret that I am not doing anything about my complex. So I did not even consider any other clinics and came right away to Braun where my friend had the surgery. I make a appointment for a consultation and visited Braun. I was so nervous about only getting a consultation, but the surgeon was humorous so I felt relaxed. The surgeon told me that my side cheekbones are well-developed. He explained every single detail about the surgical method and compared it with the method of other clinics. And also, I was told that the cheeks will not become saggy. My friend set the surgery date right after the consultation and now I know how she felt. At that moment I have started trusting and being confident about Braun. Especially, I trusted what the surgeon said to me “Just trust me. I will make you beautiful”. I put down a deposit for the surgery. When it came to the point, I was too scared to get the surgery so I went to Braun on my surgery day after staying up all night. As soon as I got there I got an IV and met the consultant and surgeon, then the surgeon marked the surgical areas before getting into an operation room. When I was lying down on the operating table, I could not think of anything at all. In a few moments, an anesthesiologist came in and said we will put you to sleep~ I breathed twice and woke up from the anesthesia by my name being called. The staff told me that the surgery went well so I was relieved and went to the recovery room. There was neither sore throat nor nausea, just a bit of dizziness. Frequently, a nurse came to check on my conditions. I am not sure how long I have been in the recovery room. The nurse told me that I am fine to go home so I asked her to remove the IV. She said to me that I am recovering fast, and then she asked me if I was really okay, and told to leave the clinic after another half an hour. Until I left the clinic, she kept asking me whether I am really fine. I guess I recovered really fast. Since I did not check the time, I do not know how long I stayed in the recovery room. After the surgery, the swelling gets really bad until the 2nd or 3rd day. I looked like a pig monster…. I met my friend and told me that I look like someone else. I ate a lot of pumpkin porridge, water, and put lots of ice packs on. I walked for an hour a day. I think walking is the best way to get rid of swelling. And the 4th day of the photo was taken the next day after I removed the bandage. Just releasing the bandage made my face look very different. I ate porridge and yogurt for 7 days. After 7 days, I started chewing a bit. It has been almost a month. I eat everything well. You have to eat it and exercise your mouth. You can't keep eating the porridge and not chewing anything because you're scared. I don’t have a lot of swelling so I can put on some make-up. My friends are telling me my eyes look clear compared with my previous eyes which were simple and plain dear eyes like, but now everybody says my eyes are more distinct and deeper. The best thing about this surgery is that I do not have to Photoshop my cheekbones in the picture. I have at least 5 months to recover without invisible swelling but I am satisfied now as well! I hope everybody can be prettier~~ As the surgeon said, cheeks are not saggy!!! |
