After much of consideration, I chose Braun among a number of other clinics, and got 3D Malar Reducation Surgery on 2nd of March.
In fact, I wasn’t the case of severe protruding cheeks or correction along with surgery was required.
However, I ended up going ahead with the surgery in order to improve my self-image and trim my facial line into much softer one.
Of course, this is osteotomy which means bone resection would be made so I was shaking and was scared too. Though, all of the medical team took good care of me and that comforted me a lot
The day and the day after surgery, swelling wasn’t too bad and I wasn’t just able to open my mouth really wide. I had no problem with communication at all (It could be different from person to person according to the medical staff though). Swelling is the most severe on 3rd and 4th day after the surgery, yet on the 5th day, my stitches got all removed and since then, the swelling has been going away really fast.
Though, I still have some remaining swelling on my cheek and I am waiting for this to be gone much faster.
Postoperative care is absolutely great here, which I appreciate with my whole heart.
