Since my early 20’s, one side of my chin was more developed than the other one, and also I would hear a click in my chin. It looked like my chin was asymmetrical and too long, which I was self conscious about. Because of that, every time I took a picture, It did frustrate me a lot and affect my confidence. In order to fix that, I went to oriental clinics but I couldn’t really see any huge improvement. 2 years after that, facial contouring came to my attention and realized it does work in fact so I did my own research on it. I also thought of two jaw surgery, yet I had no problem with my teeth so I didn’t go for it. Plastic surgery itself is a big deal even cost-wise too. Therefore, I did a lot of research on surgical method, medical staff and read heaps of reviews. I was very attracted to Braun as the reviews and photos there looked realistic and true. During the consultation with the doctor and he mentioned V line square jaw surgery and chin advanced surgery. I asked him about cheeks but he said I only need V line square jaw and chin advanced surgery. He also told me that it’s not possible to fully correct the asymmetry in my eyes. He assured me that the focus of this surgery would be on facial line improvement, which was to check again if I was on the same page. After the consultation, I immediately made up my mind to go with Braun as I found the doctor very honest and trustworthy. On the surgery day, I had additional consultation with another doctor for my one eye whose double eyelid is almost gone. I kindly told the doctor to ensure my both eyes match without getting untied Right after that, last consultation before the surgery with the doctor for my jaw and chin. He thoroughly designed my face paying a lot of attention during the last consultation, which made himself more reliable. I believe he was born to be a doctor with an innate sense. Afterwards, the anesthesiologist came in saying “it’s on”. Then, when I opened my eyes again, I was with bandage covered my head and the nurses trying to wake me up. I was moved to the recovery room and lied down for a while. Personally, the journey wasn’t easy at all so I got discharged quite late. The day after surgery, the big bandage was taken off, and I went up to level 5 for skincare and shampoo section. Then, I got an anti-biotic shot, and the facial bandage was given to me. Soon as I looked at myself in the mirror, it started worrying me a lot because I wasn’t sure if the swelling would ever go away or not..From the 5th day onward, the swelling started going away and amazingly it felt like my face was getting in place. I was surprised and at the same time, I did appreciate the doctor for everything. At least for 5 days after surgery, I suggest you all just let it be, and from 5th day onward, it will get better (Everyone is different when it comes to swelling). On the second week, the stitches inside my mouth got removed. I realized I came to look much younger thanks to the surgery, and the medical staff felt the same way! The doctor also said the surgery went well, and again, I appreciate you, doctor for doing such a great job. Also, for the doctor who did my eyes, I thank you too. For the stitch removal, it was a bit sore but only for 1 min 30 secs Lastly, I got skin/swelling treatment and went down to the pharmacy for mouthwash and that was it~ I know myself..the surgery must have been so challenging, which makes me feel more grateful. The reason why I am writing the review is of course to express my appreciation and also I feel so bad for those who go through side effects or any medical accident when they spent a fortune. When it comes to face especially, we all need to be cautious and do some research but at the same time, it’s highly important to be with the doctor who is honest and who customizes the surgery and consultation to me. Otherwise, you won’t even know what’s going on with the surgery. Now, I feel so amazed and I do not regret going through the surgery. I look surely younger. Although I still have some swelling, which feels like I have three candies in my mouth, it will go away more over time and I am looking forward to a slimmer face. The doctor is very honest and doesn’t lie, which made me go with Braun. If you are very self-conscious about your look for years and years, I suggest you see the doctor at Braun. If you put safety and customized outcome first, then Braun is for you. I appreciate all the medical staff at Braun for taking good care of me. I will try my best not to drink or smoke until the 5th week. |
